Billy Delaware Harper

Mr. Billy Delaware Harper, age 61 of Martinsville, Virginia died Sunday, February 16, 2020. He was born on July 2, 1958 in Franklin County, Virginia to the late Rebecca Harper. He was also predeceased by two sisters, Gloria Rumley and Ruby Callaway. He was of the Holiness Faith. He was employed by Ply Gem as a material handler. He loved cooking and was a head chef at the Dutch Inn. Mr. Harper is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Wray, Mary Harper, two brothers, Calvin Harper (Brenda), Kermit Harper (Bonita), his former wife, Felicia Shelton Harper, five God Children, Xzavior Harper, Dorien Harper, Derrick Shelton, Danielle Shelton, Zachary Lambert and Corey Rumley. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Refuge Temple Holiness Church. Interment will follow in the Harper Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:00 PM and at other times the family will be at the residence.
