Carolyn A. Haire, 82, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020, surrounded by her family. She was born October 14, 1937, in Evansville, IN, to the late Fred and Irma Huff.
Carolyn was married to the love of her life of 54 years, Richard “Bud.” Beloved Anni became her companion after Bud’s passing. She loved her family and was an amazing cook. Carolyn also loved to shop. She was retired from Windsor Plastics.
Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Dawn (Mike) Durchholz of Newburgh and Tracy Haire of Henderson, KY; son, Rick (Debbie) Haire of Evansville; grandchildren, Dustin (Winter) Durchholz, Brandon (Erin) Durchholz, Ryan (Jenny Tutt) Haire, Chris (Sydney) Haire and Shasta (Lance) Speaks; great grandchildren, Carrie Crowley, Declan and Finley Speaks, Kennedy Haire, and Sloan Haire.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2020, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Rev. Alan Ramsey, with entombment at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Hospice.
