Sheri Lynn Walker

It is with profound sadness that we announce Sheri Lynn Walker, age 59, passed away peacefully the morning of March 22nd with her family by her side. Sheri was born January 7th, 1961 in Muskegon Michigan to Anne Marie Rockwell. In 1979 she met Mark Walker, her future husband. Their courtship started when Mark called her from a payphone at Kunkles Drive-In. They were married on November, 21st 1980. This was also the evening the Nation discovered who shot JR (Dallas). A joke that was made within the family up to her final days. Sheri is survived by her husband, Mark Walker (Connersville). Children, Chad Walker (Elizabeth) and Courtney Walker. Grandchildren, Camden and Maddox Walker. Mother, Anne Marie Rockwell. Father, William Rockwell (Patricia Rockwell). Brother, Joseph Minnerick (Carol). Sheri was an avid reader and collector of books. She enjoyed spending time at bookstores with her mother and son. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter Courtney and grandchildren, who she FaceTimed with every evening. She loved her dogs: Crue, Franki, and Bodhi. At the time of her passing she was an officer manager at Aseracare Hospice. She had worked in the medical administration field since 1979. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday March 26 2020, at Dale Cemetery, section B. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fayette County Animal Shelter, on Sheri's behalf.
