Ruth E Lorenzen

Ruth E (Markstahler) Lorenzen, age 96, of Bedford, Indiana passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020 at the I.U. Health; Bedford Health Center. Born September 9, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of George and Edith (Peters) Markstahler. She attendedtwo years of college and worked as a secretary at Proviso West high school office in Hillside Illinois. Ruth is survived by her two sons; Dr. Glenn Jay Pedersen, of West Baden Springs, Indiana and George Christian Pedersen, of Indianapolis and Grand daughters Amanda, Sara and grandsons, Erik and Jay and great grand children Tristyn and Avery. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ejner Pedersen and John K. Lorenzen. There will be no services or visitation at this time as interment will be in Illinois. Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home; 4150 E. Third St; Bloomington, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
