Aubrey Richard Wood

Aubrey Richard Wood, 74, of Huddleston passed away Monday, September 28, 2020. He was the husband of Barbara Newton Wood. Born in Roanoke on March 1, 1946 he was a son of the late Jack Wood and Hazel Wood. He was preceded in death by a step son, Kenneth Barker. In addition to his wife he is survived by a step daughter, Holly Hatley and her husband James of Huddleston; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Whitt Mayton officiating.
