Geraldine Kilgore

Geraldine “Jerrie” A. Kilgore, 92, of Newburgh was called to her eternal home September 25, 2020. Jerrie was born in Lynch, Nebraska to the late Richard and Irene Marston. She met her husband, Roy, during WWII. They married in 1946 and raised four children together. She was a stay at home Mom for years, then worked at Visiting Nurse Association, and finally created a daycare in her home. Jerrie always loved to write poetry and travel. Tending her flower gardens and caring for her hummingbirds gave her a lot of joy. Spending time with family and friends was a blessing to her. She was a member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church whose congregation she considered “family”. Jerrie is lovingly survived by her children, LeAnn (John) Bruce, Michael (Judy) Kilgore, Pat (Ana Linnemann) Kilgore, and Randy (Shirlene) Kilgore; her grandchildren, Andrea, Nichole, Jennifer, Ryan, Sophia, Alex; her great grandchildren, Chase, Riley, Avery, Colton, Aiden, Ethan, Amelia. She is also survived by many extended family members. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy, and a son Danny Lee as well as her sister, Naomi Sibbel and brother, Charles Marston. Private funeral will be held October 10.
