Doris D. Yacone, 89, of Indianapolis, departed this life Tuesday, November 10, 2020. She was born May 15, 1931 in Newark, New Jersey to the late Joseph and Lucille (Testa) Intorelli. Dee earned her teaching degree from New Jersey State Teachers College. She went on to teach in the New Jersey public school system and subsequently enjoyed being a real estate broker later in life. She was able to travel the world with her husband in the United States Air Force and appreciated foreign culture and cuisine. She loved eating out and especially enjoyed Thai and Asian cuisine. Dee was happiest though reading a good book, looking at family pictures, or taking long walks around her neighborhood. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43 years, Frank R. Yacone and her devoted son, Frank R. Yacone, Jr.; her dear brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Joyce Intorelli.
