Margaret A. McBride

Margaret A. McBride, 79 of Markle passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. Margaret had worked at Colwell General in Fort Wayne for over 30 years, retiring in 2006. She attended Markle United Methodist Church. She enjoyed dancing, singing, reading, puzzles, gardening and traveling. Margaret also enjoyed going to the Gospel Barn in Bluffton and spending time with her family. She loved her dogs and pets. Margaret was born on November 30, 1941 in Huntington, the daughter of the late Raymond and Whilemina L. (Van Dine) Frederick. She was united in marriage to Ralph “Bud” McBride on June 1, 1957 in Markle, Indiana. Her husband survives. Additional survivors include two daughters: Brenda (Rick) Deubner of South Whitley, Kathryn (Shawn) Klepper of Hicksville, OH; two sons: Fred (Ceci) McBride of Fredericksburg, TX, Mike (Tina) McBride of Fort Wayne; a brother: Richard (Dee) Frederick of Warren; two sisters: Marilyn Hare and Karen Laugle both of Huntington; 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two daughters: Kimberly A. McBride Miller, Connie S. Parson; a brother: Raymond “Bud” Frederick; a sister: Janet Meehan and two grandsons. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel, 415 N. Lee Street, Markle, Indiana. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel with Pastor Mark Pope officiating. Interment will take place at the Star of Hope Cemetery in Huntington County. Due to this time of the Corona Virus, a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
