Henry W. Henize, Jr., 81, of Palmyra, Indiana passed away December 21, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 8, 1939 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Margaret Louise Snyder Cole. Henry was retired from Ford Motor Company with over 20 years of service, former member and elder of Greenville Christian Church and an active member of Southeast Christian Church. He was an Ordained Minister, chaplain of Westminster Terrace and spent countless years doing missionary work in the United States, Philippines and Russia. Henry was a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corp.
In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by a son, David Keith Henize and his wife, Pam Henize; a sister, Carolyn Bruner; a brother, Marshall Henize.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 60 years, Marie White Henize; a daughter, Karen (Tim) Bowe; grandchildren, Michael Larson, Ryan (Cindi) Larson and Lindsey Bowe; one great-grandson, Hawthorne "Hank" Larson; siblings, Alice Mobley, Mark Cole and Lyle Cole; as well as numerous nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1-6 pm on Sunday, December 27, 2020 and from 10-11 am on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, December 28, 2020 in the Chapel of Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
