Gleda June Hutchinson

Gleda June Hutchinson, 92, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020. She was born April 10, 1928 in Evansville IN to the late Otmer and Thelma (McFall) Alexander. She graduated from Bosse High School and retired as a sales clerk for JC Penny’s. She enjoyed listening and dancing to live Jazz music, collecting shells when she lived in Florida, making crafts, and playing cards. She was an avid gameshow watcher and loved to read. Gleda lived in Florida over 30 years, then moved to Paducah, Kentucky before moving to Newburgh. Gleda was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Randy and Dan Hutchinson; sisters, Wanda Haas and Nada DeVillez. She is survived by her daughters, Shirlene Mott (Fred) of Ponta Vedra Beach, FL, Jana Morris (Dave) of Newburgh, and Sharla Hutchinson of Paducah, KY; brother, Otmer “Skip” Alexander; daughter-in-law, Debbie Hutchinson; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261. Friends may visit Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
