Richard P. Saldibar Sr.
December 11, 1949 – July 11, 2019

Richard P. Saldibar Sr passed away on Thursday, July 11th at 69 years of age. He is survived by his loving wife Sandra and his children Rich, Patrick, and Katie, his big sisters Joann and Esther, and his brothers Jesse, John, and Tony. He is also survived by his stepchildren Velvet, Kailyn, Scotty, and Alex and his step-grandchildren Jacob, Karissa, Kurtis, and Brian. Rich has moved on to return to the loving arms of his first wife, Colleen, his sisters Gloria and Josephine, and his mother and father, Hortense and Manuel.
Rich had such love in his heart for everybody in his life and gave us all so much. He loved being on his boat and taking his friends and family out for a cruise. Richard was a proud Vietnam Veteran and an active member of the American Legion Post 232, where he was Commander from ‘05-‘07.
At the end of the day, you could always depend on him for everything.
We are all going to miss him so deeply and the world is already a different place without him.

Wake will be held Thursday, July 18 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm at the Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin
Funeral Mass will be held Friday July 19, 10:00am at St. Mary's Church, 740 W. Bay Ave, Barnegat, NJ
with burial to follow immediately at St. Mary Cemetery, Beachview Ave, Manahawkin.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be made to his cherished American Legion Post 232 of Barnegat, NJ.
