Donald J. Paulauski Sr.

Donald J. Paulauski Sr., age 86 of Fort Wayne IN passed away October 17, 2018. He was born July 16, 1932 in East Chicago IN. to Frank George and Lottie (Swierski) Paulauski, Sr. Don was a resident of Highland IN for over 52 years with his loving wife and son. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years Mary Ann Paulauski (nee Miotke). Don and Mary Ann met at a dance in Cedar Lake IN and within two weeks they were engaged to be married. They truly enjoyed each other’s company as well as camping and traveling with their son. Don served in the Korean War and later employed at LTV Steel for over 42 years. Surviving are his loving children Donald Paulauski Jr and Annemarie Burns and grandchild Garrett Burns. He is also survived by Patricia (Wade) Blaker, Thomas (Terri) Paulauski, along with many family members of the Miotke family, Benedek family, Woolf family, Acsbok family, sister Anne Skapick Morgan family. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Frank Paulauski, sisters Janet, and Carol. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday October 27, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM follow by a family funeral service at 2:30 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 8178 Cline Ave (1/2 mile south of U S 30) Crown Point, IN.
