Ellen Louise Kinsella "Willie"

Ellen Louise Kinsella 'Willie' (nee Williams) Hammond, IN Ellen Louise Kinsella age 92, peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019. She is survived by her daughter, Luana F. Stephan; granddaughters, Tami (Ronn) Jefferson and Cindy (Chuck) Uplegger; great-grandchildren, Connor and Abby Uplegger and Nathaniel Jefferson. Preceded in death by her husband, John Francis Kinsella; daughter, Susan Hope Kinsella; sister, Marion (late Chet) Kozak; brother, Thomas Ormsby and many dear friends. Ellen was born April 28, 1926 in Chicago, IL to the late John and Edith (nee Ormsby) Williams and was a graduate of Morgan Park High School, Chicago, IL. On August 10, 1946 she married the love of her life, John F. Kinsella at Sacred Heart Church in Chicago, IL and together they raised two daughters. She worked several jobs throughout her life most notably at St. John Bosco in Hammond, Indiana so she could be closer to her two granddaughters. Ellen was a scout leader, an avid reader, loved to sew and crochet and take road trips with her family. Ellen was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother and will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched. Funeral Services will be held privately by the family.
