Fleur Lee Hickman

Fleur Lee Hickman age 84, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018. She is survived by her children, Bruce (late Mitzi) Hickman, Joe (Cheryl) Hickman, Rhonda (Rodney) Fields, Linda (Paul) Blank and Sheryl (Donnie) Wright; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; sister in law, Marie Hickman; many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Bessie Waller; husband, Gene A. Hickman; son, Bob Hickman; grandchildren, Mark Hickman and Christine Fields and sister, Gwen Prohl. Fleur was a 1952 graduate of Hammond High School and retired from Mercantile Bank. She was a member of the American Legion Post 81 in Monticello, IN and served as past president of the Ladies Auxiliary. Fleur enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family. Fleur was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Avenue Crown Point, IN) with Pastor Shawn Cornett officiating. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
