John J Kusy

John Joseph Kusy, age 83, peacefully passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2019. He is survived by son, Jonny Kusy; brother-in-law, Daniel Szmutko; many nieces, nephews, dear friends and neighbors, Ken and Audrey Conley. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Mary. John was a graduate of George Rogers Clark High School Class of 1953, Hammond, IN. He worked at Phil Schmidts as a valet attendant. He also was employed at Sinclair Oil and retired from Dupont. John resided in Highland for over 40 years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and had a craving for peppers. Burial services were privately held by the family and dear friends.
