Loula "Adell" Myers

Loula Adell Myers, age 91, of Hammond passed peacefully on April 16, 2018 at her residence. Adell was born March 10, 1927 in Oakman, Alabama to the late Freeman and Inez Banks. Also preceding her in death are her loving husband of 69 years, John Myers; brother, Billy Ray Banks; great grandchildren, Aubrey Mucha and Jaden Kim. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Johnnie (Stanley) Mucha, Shirley (Tom) Ogrodowski, Linda Toole; grandchildren, Stanley III (Grace), Amy (Brian), Kathleen (Christopher), John, Wayne (Lisa), Franklin (Melanie), Michelle (Danny), and Matthew (Rachel); and numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Mabel (late Jack) McCormick and Geraldine (David) Cain; sister-in-law, Charlotte Banks; and many nieces and nephews. Adell was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and family was very important to her. She will be missed by her loving family and her memory will be forever cherished. Visitation will be Friday, April 20, 2018 from 4-7 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave.; Crown Point, IN 46307). Funeral services will be Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11:00 am at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Parnell officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
