Millie Cain Zevkovich
February 3, 1928 – April 5, 2021

Millie Cain Zevkovich passed away on April 5, 2021. She was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and first husband, Billie Cain, and her midlife sweetheart and second husband, Melvin Zevkovich.
Family was central in Millie's life. Her favorite activities involved spending time with her three daughters, Jane Cain Ogrizovich, Joan Cain, and Patti Cain Quasny. Millie was a wonderful mother-in-law to Rodney Quasny and Sam Ogrizovich.
Millie's face would light up in the presence of her grandchildren, Jeremy(Jenna) Ogrizovich,
Jason(Gretchen) Ogrizovich, Amber(Jim) Latzke, Clayton Quasny, and Billy Hines. She was blessed with great grandchildren Ivy, Mary, Oona, Melanie, Dale, and Thomas Ogrizovich, and Madison and Adyson Latzke.
Millie and her sisters Violet(George) Varichak and Sophia(Peter) Stoynoff were best friends and inseparable, as were she and her brothers Mike(Carol) Ratkovich, Dan(Yekie) Ratkovich, Steve(Millie) Ratkovich, Joe Ratkovich, Peter(Janice) Ratkovich, George(Linda) Ratkovich, and Robert(Betty) Ratkovich. Millie enjoyed numerous family gatherings where she was adored by many, including all her nieces and nephews.
A lifelong member of St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church, Millie also was a member of the Church Circle of Serbian Sisters, and Serbian Seniors where she and her friends made delicious walnut cakes.
Services were held privately by the family. Donations may be sent to St. Archangel Michael Serbian Church, Lansing, Il 60438 and/or Traditions Hospice Health Company, 1229 Arrow Head Court, Crown Point, Indiana, 46307.
