Sharon Marie Meyerhoff

Sharon Marie Meyerhoff (nee Kopf) Sharon Marie Meyerhoff age 65 of Kouts, IN formerly of North Judson, Whiting, and the East side of Chicago, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 14, 2019. She is survived by her sons, Leonard J. Meyerhoff and Michael A. Meyerhoff; daughter, Kelley (Patrick) Wetnight; grandchildren, Matthew (Jacquelyn) Meyerhoff, Eris Meyerhoff, and Alexandra Meyerhoff; brother, John (Susan) Kopf, Patricia (late Norma) Lee, and Carolyn (Keith) Gooden; many nieces, nephews, dear friends, and her canine companions, Lucy Lou and Katie-did as well as her grand-pups, Bella and Buster. Preceded in death by husband, Mark David Meyerhoff; brother, Leonard (Mary) Kopf; sister, Denice Kopf; sisters in law, Dorothy (George) Kopf, and Cheryl Meyerhoff; brothers in law, Dwight 'Mick' Meyerhoff, David Meyerhoff, and Michael Meyerhoff. Sharon was born April 1, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Patricia (Thomas) Keeton and the late Leonard Kopf Sr. She was a 1972 graduate of George Washington High School. On April 27, 1974, she married the love of her life, Mark David Meyerhoff and together they raised 3 children. Sharon was a teller for over 30 years for the East side and Calumet City Currency Exchanges. She enjoyed playing cards and Bunco with her family and friends and loved everything birds. Sharon was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister and will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Avenue Crown Point, IN) with Rev. Terry Bennis officiating. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday, July 19, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 PM and on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until time of Mass at the funeral home.
