Betty Maxine Wiedman, 89, of Fort Wayne, passed away on December 9, 2018, in Jefferson City, Tennessee. Born on November 19, 1929, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Earl W and Theo (Harker) Miller. Betty played baseball and softball at Packard Park, and served in the Civil Air Patrol during WWII.
She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Wiedman and Karen (Duane) DuMont; son, Rick Wiedman; grandsons, Korry and Devin DuMont; and great-grandsons, Drake, Joshua, and Ethan DuMont. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold GC Wiedman; and brothers, Lloyd and Louis Miller.
Funeral service will be 2pm, Wednesday, December 19, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, Tuesday, December 18, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to the family.
