Suzanne Elizabeth Cserep

Suzanne Elizabeth (Urbine) Cserep rose with the sun on June 6, 1938 and set with the sun on March 27, 2020 at home surrounded by loved ones and family. “Sue” graduated from North Side High School in 1956. She was married to David G. Cserep for 37 years. Suzanne was a lifelong member of Trinity English Lutheran Church and served the Lord as a Sunday School and a deaconess. “Sue” was a member of the Church’s Abigail Circle; member of Curios Antique Club; and member of Philanthropic Education Organization. Suzanne’s work history began prior to high school graduation where she worked at Lincoln National Life Insurance Company; she worked at Keltsch Brothers Pharmacy; Fort Wayne Community Schools; and retired after 20 years from Ear, Nose and Throat Specialists. Suzanne enjoyed antique shopping, playing cards, being at Lake George on the weekends and during the summer months. She liked spending time with family and hosting many gatherings for relatives. She truly enjoyed sharing recipes and cooking and baking for the Holidays. Suzanne is survived by four sons and one daughter; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous very special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Florence (Diehl) Urbine; daughter Kristy Okuly; three sisters, Joyce Cunningham, Lavon Simcoe, and Charlotte Slabaugh. Due to the Corona Virus Crisis, there will be no service or visitation at this time. A Memorial Service for Suzanne will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation at www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org.
