Daniel M Stula

Daniel M. Stula, age 89, of Hammond, IN passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014. He is survived by his three daughters: Danielle (Dan) Legler, Donna (Mark) Gland and Paula (Rick) Davis; four grandchildren: Adam and Lauren Legler, Veronica and Jack Davis; two nephews: Jim Boughamer and Paul (Barb) Boughamer; and cousin, Marilyn (Richard) Fath. Mr. Stula was preceded in death by his wife, Veronica "Vera"; and loyal canine friend, Lucky. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, 4021 Elm St., East Chicago, IN with Rev. Aleksandar Savic officiating. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. with a Pomen service 7:00 p.m at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN. Mr. Stula was an active member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church. He retired from BP Amoco with 35 years of service, and formerly managed the American Legion Lanes in Hammond. Daniel was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp during WWII and Korea, and was a member of the American Legion.
