Georgine of Schererville Indiana, formerly of Griffith Indiana, passed away on Sunday October 20th, 2019. She is survived by her loving husband Dennis, son Jeff (Angelica) Backe, three granddaughters Jessica Bieniak, Samantha Bieniak, Taylor Backe. Also three brothers Alan Kallas, James Kallas, George Kallas, and three sisters Kathleen Hathaway, Virginia Kallas, and Rosalyn (Peter) Derolf. Friends may visit Thursday, October 24th, 2019 from 2pm to 6pm (services at 6pm) at Kuiper Funeral Home located at 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN. Georgine was an avid card (poker) player and gardener.
