Geraldine K. "Gerri" Fowler

GERRI FOWLER (NEE WAHL) PORTAGE, IN Gerri Fowler (nee Wahl), age 65, of Portage, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2011. She is survived by her husband, Dwight; one son, Morris (Cheri) Fowler of Monterey, IN; two daughters: Susan Bergner of Knox, IN and Laura (Jim) Ross of Portage; nine grandchildren: Nathan, Heather, Katelynn, Crystal, Chad, Jimmy Jr., Corey, Kaylee, and Ryder; one sister, Donna (late Fred) Wanicki of Griffith. Mrs. Fowler was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Laver; brother, Robert Wahl; and parents: Clarence and Laura Wahl. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at Ross Baptist Church, 4790 Noble, Gary, IN with Rev. Bill Gibbs officiating. Interment will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN. Mrs. Fowler was a member of the Ross Baptist Church.
