Dear Ann: My sincerest condolences to you and the family. Joe was a wonderful person and I know Richard (Blaski) enjoyed the friendship they shared. As others have noted, your greatest joy will be the many memories you shared with Joe throughout the years. You and the family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

A GREAT TEACHER AND COACH AT EAST CHICAGO WASHINGTON HIGH SCHOOL. USE TO RUN INTO COACH AT STRACK AND VAN TILS IN HIGHLAND WHILE MAKING A DELIVERY. COACH WOULD ALWAYS TAKE THE TIME AND REMENISE ABOUT ECW. HAD HIM FOR A TEACHER. GREAT TEACHER AND DISCIPLINARY PERSON WHO HAD THE RESPECT OF HIS STUDENTS. HE WAS A GIANT OF A FIGURE, THEY DON'T MAKE THEM LIKE COACH ANYMORE. MY SYMPATHY TO COACHE'S FAMILY.
