Marcella J. Nagel

Marcella “Marcie” Nagel (née Dulijan} passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 8, 2019 at the age of 78. Marcie was born on February 10, 1941 in Hammond, IN to the late Ted and Helen Dulijan (Gonsiorowski). She graduated from Hammond Tech High School, Class of 1959. Her career included working at American Steel, National Refractories, and her favorite occupation of Grandma. Marcie is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Kenneth (Ken), children, Karen (Jim) Cloghessy of Schererville, IN, Paul (Joyce) of Bentonville, AR and David (Kristen) of Zionsville, IN, and her nine grandchildren: Jillian, Jack, Will, Dana, Kenneth, Nicholas, Grant, Zachary, and Jacob. Friends are invited to meet with the family Friday, June 14, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN. A Prayer service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. James the Less Catholic Church, 9640 Kennedy Ave., Highland, IN. Rev. Keith Virus officiating. Cremation will follow service. Marcie had many loves in life, first and foremost, her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved bowling, going to the casino, and anything related to Hawaii, especially Kona coffee. Marcie was an avid fan and loved her Chicago White Sox! She will be dearly missed.
