

Jimmie G Kiritsis of Anderson, Indiana was called home to be with our Lord while surrounded by his family after a short battle with cancer. He was 90 years young. Jimmie was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of the late George & Magdelina (Papatriondefilo) Kiritsis.
He graduated from Ben Davis High School before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force. After his honorable discharge, Jimmie continued to serve by becoming a Police Officer and later, became the owner of his contracting company.
Jimmie was a member of Fall Creek Christian Church, Free Mason, FOP, and an avid pheasant and quail hunter all of his life. He became a fisherman in his 80’s, and his favorite hobby was woodworking. Jimmie never met a stranger and left an impact on those he met along the way.
He was a loving & caring husband of 53 years to Sherrill K Kiritsis of Anderson, loving father of Debbie Kirchenbauer of Indianapolis, Robbie (Karla) Kiritsis of Indianapolis, Terry O’Rear of Indianapolis, Jay (April) Kiritsis of Rock Hill, SC, Jeff Morgan of Indianapolis and Karen (Wayne) King of Lapel. Brother of Tommy (Patty) Kiritsis of Indianapolis. Grandfather of Kris Kiritsis Jr of Bloomington, Monesia Maxwell of Cleveland, OH, Jenny Maxwell of Lakewood, OH, Kyle Kirchenbauer of Danville, Crystal Hurst of Indianapolis, Robi Kiritsis of Indianapolis, Cassie Kiritsis of Anderson, Brittani (Daniel) Barker of Lapel, Sara (Justin) Ridings of Lapel, Corie (James) Greene of Lexington, SC, Michael (Liberty) Morgan of Spencer, Dustin Wilkerson of Indianapolis, Adam (Kailyn) Honeycutt of Plainfield and Alex Honeycutt of Indianapolis.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Tony & Steve Kiritsis, George Urgo, sister Effie Kiritsis, son Kris Kiritsis and his daughter Kay Honeycutt.
Visitation for Jimmie will be held on Friday, December 17, from 3:00pm – 7:00pm at Family Funeral Care, 5791 Rockville Rd. Indpls., IN 46224. His Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 18, 11:00 am also at Family Funeral Care. He will be laid to rest with Military Honors at Crown Hill Cemetery.
