Nancy Joanne Tiplick

Nancy Joanne Tiplick, 85, of Indianapolis, departed this life Wednesday, March 17, 2021. She was born November 26, 1935 in Indianapolis to the late Robert Joseph and Rose (Cornet) Goode. Nancy was a graduate of St. Agnes Academy and then attended Butler University and then finished her degree at the University of Miami – Florida. She was a school teacher at St. Joan of Arc Catholic School for several years. Nancy was a kind and gentle soul who put her family and faith first. She was a longtime member of St. Luke Catholic Church. She loved being outdoors and experiencing new things. Nancy enjoyed international travel, winters in Palm Beach, Florida, quiet time tending to her garden and chasing a golf ball at Hillcrest Country Club. She seldom passed on an opportunity to go shopping or to join her friends for a chance to catch up on life. Nancy had always had a soft spot in her heart for animals. She often took in strays and nursed injured animals back to health. Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Daniel P. Tiplick, Sr.; beloved son, Daniel P. Tiplick, Jr. and dear brother, Bob (Fran) Goode. She is survived by her loving sons, Robert J. (Beth) Tiplick, Andrew T. Tiplick and Gary (Rosemary) Tiplick; daughter-in-law, Tawnya Tiplick and ten grandchildren. Public visitation for Nancy will be from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm on Sunday, March 21st at Leppert Mortuary – Nora Chapel. Private services will follow and be available for livestreaming at 4:00 pm at www.leppertmortuary.com Private entombment follows at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
