He told me he remembered when I used to come to the house with Donna, back in the day. He said he used to offer me a beer, and I quickly said uh-uh, no you didn't! He laughed and said I know, I was just checking !! And we both laughed!!! He was a great person and will be missed !!!

Pope will be missed. He was like a Dad to all the kids in the neighborhood. We had a lot of good times with Pope growing up on Ridge Ave. Pope never met a stranger and would help you out anyway he could. Thanks for the friendship Pope. God Bless the Family...

I am so sorry for your loss. I loved and respected this man like a dad. I am praying for all. My most favorite memories was when he always brought home to share with friends and family, vanilla wafers or some other treat from the bakery. And smelled just like cookies. I will miss him and thank God for letting me know him. A man truly with a big heart. Love to all....nini
