My heartfelt prayers go out to the Flum family. They were the sweetest neighbors. Bud, Alice, Susan, Phil, and Sandra always treated me like one of their own. Maybe because I was always playing at their place since Sandra was just 1 year older than me. I remember for many years Bud always dressed up as Santa Clause and made surprise visits to our house. For the longest time I had no idea it was even him. I am blessed to have had such wonderful childhood memories with the Flum’s. My deepest sympathy, Kelly

We were neighbors for many years, very nice. I remember when he played Santa and came to our house for Elaine, Very much appreciated, also when our barn burned they came and got her away from the stress. Many thanks and great memories.

My favorite memories of Bud are whenever I needed help with anything at the Markle VFW Post he was always first in line. He was a great man and will be greatly missed by all who knew him!

I have such great memories of many hours/days/weeks with your family. We had such fun camping, going to the lake, hanging out at your house or mine. We played games, swam, hiked, stayed up late, etc. And I am sure we drove your parents crazy. Your dad was plenty ornery (just like mine was). Glad we only lived around the corner from each other.
Your family is in my thoughts and prayers!

I'm so sorry to hear of Bud's passing. Bud, Alice, and the kids lived right down the road from us (Neal & Judy Rice and my sisters), and I grew up in ZUM with them. My fondest memory of their family is the palomino horse they had for the longest time. When it was in the pasture, I could see it from the windows of our house, and I loved that horse. No idea of his/her name, but I loved it just the same. :-) Bud was a good man. My sympathies to his family and friends. Rest in peace, Bud.
