Bernice Gregory Craddock

Bernice Gregory Craddock, 88, of King’s Mountain Road in Collinsville, died Friday, November 9, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Pittsylvania County, January 5, 1924 to Posey Lester Gregory and Rebecca Grant Gregory. She was a graduate of Brosville High School and retired from the Henry County Treasurer’s Office. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Collinsville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otha Ray Craddock; two sisters, Vivian Clark and Anna Powell; six brothers, Sonny, Ray, Frank, Lewis, Paige and Giles Gregory. She is survived by a daughter, Saralyn Edens and husband, Jim of Palastine, Illinois; two sons, Jonathan R. Craddock and wife, Deborah of Roanoke and Michael R. Craddock of Collinsville; two brothers, Earl Gregory of Chatham, Mickey Gregory of Danville; three grandchildren, Ciara, Austin and Ethan Craddock. The funeral service will be held Monday, November 12, 2012 at 2:00 pm at McKee-Stone Funeral Home in Martinsville with the Rev. Larry Cheek officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at McKee-Stone Funeral Home.
