Joyce A. (Kanady) Dillman, 85, of Newburgh, IN passed away Friday, October 18, 2019 at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville. She was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin June 13, 1934 to Everett and Delores (Newell) Kanady.

She attended St. Benedict Grade School and graduated from Memorial High School. Joyce worked in the Accounting Department at Mead Johnson until she became a stay at home Mom. In recent years Joyce enjoyed reading books and having lunch with her high school buddies the Behags. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and enjoyed volunteering at Mother Teresa Treasures in Newburgh.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Kenny; son, Joseph; parents; and her sister Nancy Berendsen.

She is survived by sons, Timothy (Debbie) of Newburgh and Steven (Karen) Dillman of Newburgh; daughter, Carrie Bonano of Evansville, daughter-in-law, Delma Echard (Kyle) of Boonville; also surviving are 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, David Kanady of Florida, sister, Pam Miller of Evansville and sister-in-law, Jeanette Collignon of Indianapolis; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Susie and Ralph Hobbs of Siberia, IN; and brother-in-law, John Berendsen of Newburgh, IN.

The family would like to thank the staff of Linda E. White Hospice House for their compassionate care.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 25, 2019 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Road, Newburgh, IN officiated by Rev. Thomas Kessler with burial in St. John Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, Newburgh, IN and 9:30 a.m.until service time on Friday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church; Linda E. White Hospice House Evansville or a charity of your choice
