Dorothy "Betty" Kelson

KELSON, Dorothy “Betty” O., 91, of Henrico, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019. She was a Switchboard Operator for 42 years with Henrico County and she enjoyed Bingo, Bunco and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Debbie Gay (Fred), Donna Bordner (Robbie) and Larry Orange (Pam); grandchildren, Freddie Gay (Jennifer), Mandy Amos (Junior), Cory Gay (Tonya), Brandon Orange (Katelin), Robbie Bordner and Shelley Jenkins (Donnie); great-grandchildren, Leo, Landon, Sophia, CJ, Parker, Elizabeth, Olivia and Emma; and many friends who will miss her dearly. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 21, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where services will be held Wednesday, May 22, at 12 p.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
