Ruth G. Booker

Ruth G. Booker, 87, of Sandston, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 11, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, Class of 1951. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert “Speedy” Booker and is survived by her daughter, Anita Binns (Bubba); granddaughter, Jennifer Seay (Andres Cardona); and great-granddaughters, Emily and April. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 17, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where services will immediately follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Washington Memorial Park.
