My condolences to Fidel's family and friends. May God welcome him into His kingdom.
Fidel had a good sense of humor, love n loyalty for God and family.
We had so many deep conversations. He was brutally honest❤ He once told me...."Yeah..I know you're in chrge of SLcenter, u do this n that at the church...why? Why? Is it to impress yourself? To impress others? Or God? " To this day, that question guides me. Am I doing it for me or for God?
He suggested I do my Cursillo. I responded, "I already know the sacraments, the commandments. What else is there to know? " His little eyes popped out! "See, this is what I mean! You know this n you know that! You dont know humility!! Humble yourself before God!" I went to the Spanish Cursillo. Fidel was so right❤ After my Cursillo, I realized there is so much to learn and that I knew so little.
After Fidel left the Center, I lost track of him but I never will forget how he changed my life...for the better.
