Mrs. Eula Mae Dotson

Virginia Beach - Eula Mae McGaha Dotson went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 22, 2010. She was born August 5, 1941 to the late Dock Bailey and Nellie Wood McGaha in Young Harris, GA. She was predeceased by her sister Avis McGaha Nichols; and three brothers, John T. McGaha, Gerald Dan McGaha, and Carroll McGaha Eula is survived by her husband of 51 years, Harold Dotson; daughter, Pamela Mae Simmons (Charles); sons, Ron Dotson, and Greg Dotson (Karen); four granddaughters, Tyler Simmons, Ashley Dotson, Megan Dotson, and Rachel Dotson; one grandson, Christian Simmons; and one great-granddaughter Hailey Stone. She is also survived by three sisters, Wilma McGaha McConnell, Imogene McGaha Lewis, and Mary McGaha Young; four brothers, Claude McGaha, D.B. McGaha, Hoyle McGaha, and Charles McGaha; and numerous nieces and nephews. Eula was a very devoted wife and mother to her husband and children. She was also a successful Real Estate Associate Broker of over 30 years, most recently with William E. Wood and Associates. She was a member of Princess Anne Plaza Baptist Church for 36 years. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m., Sunday July 25, 2010 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. A service will be held on Monday, July 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
