Inez Nobles Ivey

Inez Nobles Ivey Inez “Nana” Ivey of Norfolk, Virginia passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019; she was 94 years old. Inez was born in Wilmington, North Carolina to Denny and Till (Watts) Nobles on September 22, 1924 and was the youngest of two children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Carl, and her husband, Marshal E. Ivey. Inez is survived by her two beautiful daughters, Sharon Faircloth and Vanessa Mathews; four grandchildren, Sean Jimenez, Kendra Cotterell, Brandon Faircloth, and Justin Mathews; and nine great-grandchildren. Inez will be remembered for her exceptional sense of humor, her boundless energy, and her constant willingness to help others. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 10 at 11:00 am at Rosewood Memorial Park; a gathering will follow at the home of Randy and Vanessa Mathews.
