Leslie Johnstone Jr.

Virginia Beach - Leslie Johnstone, Jr., 85, passed away on April 25, 2018. He was born on July 21, 1932 to the late Leslie Sr. and Annie Johnstone. He retired from the Naval Air Rework Facility as an aircraft engineer. Mr. Johnstone was a member of London Bridge Baptist Church and was a model train enthusiast. He was known for his wonderful memory and was often referred to as a historian. He is survived by his wife, Gladys W. Johnstone; son, Edward G. Rockefeller and his wife Teresa; grandchildren, Aimee Walker and her husband Robert, Michael W. Fleming and his wife Christy, and Jennifer Jernigan; six grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter. The family will have a private service where they will lay Mr. Johnstone to rest at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
