Alice Joyce Gallahan

Alice Joyce Gallahan passed away peacefully, with family by her side, Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Joyce was born in 1933 in Robertsdale, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alice and Joseph Petelinski; her brother, Edward Petelinski; her son, John C. Gallahan; and an infant son. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Higgs (Paul) and Carla Gallahan (Neill Briggs); her son, Mark C. Gallahan – her pride and joy; and her grandchildren, Megan Menter (Seth) and Joseph Higgs. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at St. William of York, Stafford, at 11:00 a.m. with a gathering at 10:30. A burial will follow at Ebenzer Cemetery in Garrisonville.
