David B. Legg

David B. Legg, 65 formerly of Highland, IN passed away on May 17, 2020 in Canton, IL. He was born on April 17, 1955 to the late Mervin and Jeannette (Cotterell) Legg in Hammond, IN. David was a high school graduate of Morton High School in June 1974. He went on to further his education and acquire a Bachelor's Degree of English from Purdue University in May of 1983. He loved to read, enjoy NASCAR races, as well as being a life long Chicago Cubs Fan. He is survived by his two sisters, Beverly (Russ) Columbo and JoAnn Neff; niece Carla (Hubert) Watson; three nephews, Michael Columbo, Darryl (Darla) Smith, George Smith; along with several great-nephews and great-great-nephews and their families. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 from 12PM-1PM at Kuiper Funeral Home - 9039 Kleinman Road Highland, IN 46322. A funeral service to honor David will take place at 1PM that day with Pastor Bob Parnell officiating.
