James "JP" Powell takes an active interest in the community of Winter Haven, having served as mayor of the city from 2011 to 2013 and as a city commissioner from 2007 to 2016.
JP's position as a manager within the Dignity Memorial network has been complemented by numerous positions in community government, including within the Winter Haven Housing Committee and code enforcement.
JP and his wife have one son. They are members of First Presbyterian Church of Winter Haven, support the Winter Haven High School Band and Youth Soccer Association and try their best to keep up with their dog, PJ. He loves to golf and travel and is an aviation enthusiast.
Ralph S Goudy
For over 33 years, Ralph Goudy has served families in the Lakeland-Winter Haven Area. He received his bachelor of arts degree from Warner University of Lake Wales, Florida, and was included in Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities.
He began serving families in 1984 as a pre-planning counselor and manager. Ralph earned his associate degree in mortuary science from Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in 1994. He serves families with the utmost professionalism and compassion and is proud to be part of the Dignity Memorial® team.
When not at the funeral home, Ralph is involved in his church and loves wood working, camping, spending time with family, most especially his grandchildren.
