Lindsay Gruntorad is a lifetime resident of Long Island, New York. She became a licensed funeral director in 2012. Lindsay originally realized she wanted to become a funeral director with the passing of her grandmother when she was only 16 years old.

“I wanted to help families in their most difficult time. I felt that I could understand and empathize with their unique and different needs,” Lindsay says. "My motivation comes from knowing that it is a privilege and honor to be entrusted with the care of a family's loved one.”

In her spare time, Lindsay focuses on her annual coat drive, a project she has organized since 2006. Throughout that time, more than 9,500 coats have been collected and distributed to underprivileged Long Islanders. Lindsay is also a member of Rotary International which allows her to volunteer her time in a way that she loves most. Lindsay takes the utmost pride in serving the community.
