Originally from Valparaiso, Indiana, Scott moved to Cary, North Carolina, at the age of 15. He attended East Carolina University and North Carolina State University as an accounting business major before deciding to pursue a mortuary career. He graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree.
After graduation Scott moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where he served as a funeral director and embalmer for several years before being promoted to location manager. In 2008, he accepted a position as general manager in Bloomington, Indiana, serving the families of Bloomington, Monroe County and Brown County.
Scott attends Sherwood Oaks Christian Church with his wife, and is a proud father of 3 sons and 2 daughters. He also has 2 beagles, Bella and Dolly, and 2 cats, Alphie and Zimba. He is a member of the Monroe Masonic Lodge #22 and has coached the funeral home’s little league baseball team. Scott enjoys water sports, swimming, walking, the Chicago Cubs, football, basketball and spending as much time as he can with his family and friends.
Gary M Arvin
Gary has been faithfully serving the families of Bloomington and the surrounding area since receiving his mortuary science education from Vincennes University in 1979. Gary formerly worked for the Holiday Inn in Evansville, Indiana, and for Brockman and Son Funeral Home in Vincennes. Both of his prior positions taught him the importance of good customer service.
Gary is committed to continually serving the families that call upon him with compassion, providing the wisdom of many years of expertise and experience. At a family’s time of great loss and difficulty, Gary looks forward to providing a unique memorialization for their loved one.
Born and raised in Evansville, he came to Bloomington to be with his wife-to-be, whom he met while in school, and was married in November 1980 at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Bloomington. The couple remain active members there and Gary sings in the chancel choir. Aside from church activities, both Gary and his wife enjoy tent camping and hiking in the abundant area state parks. Gary also serves as an active member of the Bloomington Lions Club. He and his wife have 1 daughter.
Paul Bryan Clark
Since 2013 Paul has provided compassionate care to families in the Bloomington and surrounding areas. Paul earned his degree in mortuary science from Mid-America College of Funeral Service in 1995. He is proud to be a part of the Dignity Memorial team, guiding you through one of the most personal times in life. When he is not serving families, Paul enjoys attending Smithville Christian Church, riding his motorcycle or being at home with family.
