    Gary M Arvin

    Funeral Director

Gary has been faithfully serving the families of Bloomington and the surrounding area since receiving his mortuary science education from Vincennes University in 1979. Gary formerly worked for the Holiday Inn in Evansville, Indiana, and for Brockman and Son Funeral Home in Vincennes. Both of his prior positions taught him the importance of good customer service.

Gary is committed to continually serving the families that call upon him with compassion, providing the wisdom of many years of expertise and experience. At a family’s time of great loss and difficulty, Gary looks forward to providing a unique memorialization for their loved one.

Born and raised in Evansville, he came to Bloomington to be with his wife-to-be, whom he met while in school, and was married in November 1980 at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Bloomington. The couple remain active members there and Gary sings in the chancel choir. Aside from church activities, both Gary and his wife enjoy tent camping and hiking in the abundant area state parks. Gary also serves as an active member of the Bloomington Lions Club. He and his wife have 1 daughter.
