Since 1997, John has provided compassionate care to families in Charles and Prince George's counties. Licensed to practice mortuary science in Maryland, John earned an associate's degree in business administration from San Diego Mesa College in 1982, a bachelor's in business administration from George Washington University in 1994, and an associate's in mortuary science from the University of the District of Columbia in 1998. When he is not at the funeral home, you will likely find John working in his yard or out sailing.
Michael James Sloan
Licensed to practice mortuary science in Maryland, Michael has provided compassionate care to families in the Bowie area since 2017. He earned his degree in mortuary science from Catonsville Community College, now Community College of Baltimore County Catonsville, in 2000. He is proud to be part of the Dignity Memorial team, guiding you through one of the most personal times in life.
Michael enjoys grilling, sailing, scuba diving and attending the Maryland Renaissance Festival. He also volunteers with Chesapeake Regional Accessible Boating, which is an all-volunteer, nonprofit sailing program dedicated to providing sailing opportunities to people with disabilities. Michael loves cooking and is enrolled in the Culinary Arts Program at Anne Arundel Community College.
