    Funeral Director

    John S. Dengler has been a licensed New York State funeral director at the Dengler, Roberts, Perna Funeral Homes since 1986 when he graduated from SUNY Canton with a degree in mortuary science. As a third-generation funeral director, John has had the privilege of serving the western New York community for over 3 decades. He enjoys the professional challenges of funeral service and the opportunity to assist families in honoring their loved ones.

    John is an active member of the Erie-Niagara Funeral Directors Association, SABAH (Skating Athletes Bold at Heart), the Amherst Alumni Foundation and the Ken-Ton Merchants Association. When he is not at the funeral home, you can find John playing golf, gardening or spending time with family and friends.

  • Liza May Littere

    Funeral Director

    Liza has been an office and location manager in the Buffalo market since 2000 and graduated from State University of New York at Canton in 1998 with a degree in mortuary science. When she is not serving families Liza enjoys spending time with her family.

  • G. Brian Roberts


    G. Brian Roberts, received NYS funeral license 1968, after graduating from Simmons School of Mortuary Science and completing a funeral home residency at Fox Funeral Home in Forest Hills, NY. After completing a military tour of Vietnam in 1969, he joined his father, George J. Roberts in the family business at 2400 Main St. Continuing in funeral service with his father until his death in 1984 and then with his brother, Gary until 1998, then joining SCI until present. In 2018, G. Brain will have had the privilege of having served the Western New York community for 50 years.

  • Constance J Perna

    Funeral Director

    A second-generation funeral director, Connie is the location manager at Perna, Dengler, Roberts Funeral Home in Williamsville; she supports other Dignity Memorial locations in the area as well. Her dedication to families has earned her a place in the company's top 10 for customer satisfaction every year since 2007.

    Born and raised in Buffalo, Connie stays involved in the Amherst community. She serves on the board of directors for the Amherst Youth Foundation, Western New York Perinatal Bereavement Network and the Erie Niagara Funeral Directors Association. She has been coordinator and facilitator of the St. Gregory the Great Bereavement Support Group since the 1990s. Connie is a certified presenter of a seminar entitled “Demystifying the Funeral Experience.” She regularly hosts workshops for area ministries on the topics of loss and grief.
