We Honor Veterans level 4 badge We Honor Veterans

At Cusimano & Russo Funeral Home, we understand the unique needs of America’s veterans and their families. As a Level Four Founding Community Partner with We Honor Veterans, we are honored to serve our nation’s heroes and take this responsibility seriously. We have taken steps to ensure our staff is knowledgeable of all the benefits available to military veterans and their families.

In addition, we host community events annually in honor of our veterans and work closely with local veterans organizations. With respect, integrity and dignity, we will walk you through the steps of creating a veteran’s memorial service that truly honors the life and sacrifice of your loved one.

History

Established in 1929, the Cusimano & Russo Funeral Home has been serving the families of Brooklyn with dignity and compassion for 88 years. Throughout the years, families have trusted us to provide exactly what they need to honor their loved ones with memorial services that uniquely reflect their lives.

A Brooklyn funeral home all along

Originally in the South Brooklyn-Carroll Gardens section of Brooklyn, the current location was established in 1948 to serve the growing population of the Gravesend/Bensonhurst area of Brooklyn. The Spanish style of architecture of our funeral home lends itself to be a place of great comfort, consolation and solace for the many families we have been privileged to serve.

Dignity, compassion and respect

Under the direction of our managers, Michael G. Rizzotto and John LaGreca, the time-honored tradition endures of treating each family as our own—with dignity, compassion and respect. It is our promise, now and always.
