Salvatore L. Deliteris was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He received his Master of Business Administration from Saint Joseph College in Brooklyn and has been a part of the Dignity Memorial® family since 2000. In addition to being the manager of Joseph G. Duffy Funeral Home in Park Slope, Mr. Deliteris is an instructor at the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Services.
In 2013 Mr. Deliteris was invested as a knight in the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, a papal honor, receiving a promotion to the rank of knight commander in 2016 in recognition of his faithfulness and commitment to the order's responsibilities. As part of the order Mr. Deliteris supports charitable works and the religious institutions within his community, providing guidance and direction regarding funeral services and liturgies.
Daniel P Sturges
Dan Sturges has served the New York City area with compassionate funeral care for over 20 years. He is currently an assistant manager at Riverside Memorial Chapel.
Dan received his degree from American Academy McAllister Institute. He chose to be a funeral director because he wanted to help people in their times of need. He is proud to be a part of the Dignity Memorial® network and is very involved in his community.
In his spare time, Dan enjoys spending quality time with his family.
James G Whitty
James has served with us as a funeral director since October 2000. He graduated from American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in 1996 with a degree in mortuary science. James has served the families of Park Slope, Windsor Terrace and throughout Brooklyn for his entire career.
James is grateful to have become well-versed in numerous funeral customs—including those of the Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Jewish and various Protestant religions and denominations—as well as facilitating humanistic and non-religious services. James counts himself fortunate to have learned under some of the most experienced and expert funeral directors. Throughout his career James has had the personal satisfaction of helping many families who have experienced the loss of a loved one.
When James is not at the funeral home, he enjoys spending time with family and friends.
