  • Patty Patricia Daughtry

    General Manager

    Lori Patricia Daughtry has provided compassionate care to families in and around Glynn County since 2005. Prior to moving to the Golden Isles, she served families in Bryan, Bulloch, Chatham and Screven Counties. At an early age, Patty realized her gift of caring for others and after an 18-year career in nursing, went on to receive her mortuary science degree in 2003.

    Patty is a licensed funeral director, embalmer, crematory operator, life agent and certified celebrant. Specializing in advanced planning, she oversees the day-to-day funeral home operations and is passionate about celebrating the significance of a life well lived. Outside of work, Patty enjoys spending time with family and friends, sewing, painting and working on home projects.

  • James Richard Best

    Funeral Director

    James has served the families in Glynn County and surrounding areas since 2007 with the utmost professionalism and compassion. He graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1978 with a degree in business management, receiving his degree in mortuary science from Gupton Jones Mortuary College in 1994.  If he is not at the funeral home you will likely find James enjoying outings with his family, motorcycling and volunteering at church.

  • Ashley Vance Hudson

    Funeral Director

    Ashley serves the families of Glynn, Camden, McIntosh and surrounding counties with the utmost professionalism and compassion. He graduated from Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1989 with a degree in mortuary science. He became a Georgia licensed embalmer in October 1991 and funeral director in January 1992. 

  • Leah Hayes Carriveau

    Funeral Director

    A resident of Brunswick, Ga., Leah Carriveau has served her community at our location since 2015. She earned her associate's degree in mortuary science from Ogeechee Technical College, where she was a President's List Scholar. She went on to become a licensed embalmer, funeral director, and certified crematory operator. Leah proudly serves on our team as a funeral director, helping guide families through challenging times. On top of being a member of the Marshes Of Glynn chapter of The Order of The Eastern Star, she also supports numerous local causes, including art education and children's literacy.

  • Wilton Lee Miles Jr.

    Funeral Director

    Wilton Lee Miles Jr. is a graduate from South Georgia College with an Associate of Arts degree. He continued his education and graduated from Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service in Atlanta, Georgia, with a Associate of Science in funeral service. Wilton is a second-generation funeral director and embalmer who grew up working with his father in their family funeral home. He is compassionate and dedicated to helping families during one of the most difficult times in their life. He is proud to be a member of the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home staff, providing services with dignity while creating enduring relationships with families in the Brunswick, Georgia, area.
