Wayne Brown has been a licensed funeral director in Texas since the 1980s and involved in the funeral industry for nearly 4 decades. Having served as funeral director, senior funeral director, location manager, general manager and funeral director-in-charge, Wayne brings to the team knowledge, experience and a strong desire to serve each family to the best of his ability. Wayne is a sixth-generation Texan, second-generation funeral director, master Mason, 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and a Rotarian. In his spare time he enjoys golf, hunting, fishing and being on the lake.
Richard C Burton
Richard graduated from Dallas Institute of Funeral Services in 1982 and has worked as a funeral director for more than 3 decades. Before joining our funeral home he spent 25 years as part of the Federal Disaster Mortuary Operational Response Team, working with victims of the Oklahoma City bombing, the World Trade Center attacks in New York City and Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. Being part of such events really showed Richard how precious life is and that it should not be taken for granted.
Richard and his wife have been married since 1980. They have 2 children and 2 granddaughters. In his free time Richard enjoys woodworking, yard work and playing with his granddaughters. He is a member of First Baptist Church of Denton.
David Michael Evans
Since 2007 David Evans has been serving families in the Dallas area. David earned his degree in mortuary science from St. Louis Community College and holds a degree in floriculture from Sacramento State College in California.
Before becoming a part of the Dignity Memorial® team, David owned his own flower shop.
David spends his spare time with his 2 miniature schnauzer fur-babies, Bailey and Cooper.
Suzanne M Gutierrez
Suzanne "Michelle" was born and raised in Dallas and graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. She has worked as a licensed funeral director since 2013.
Michelle is highly dedicated to her profession and always puts first the families she serves. She believes her values allow her to relate to and assist families during their most difficult times.
Michelle and her husband have been married since 1998. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and watching her favorite sports team: the Dallas Cowboys.
Pamela Adkins Swinding
Since 1993 Pamela Swindling has been serving families in the Dallas area. Pam holds a master’s degree in education and an Associate of Applied Science degree in mortuary science from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, where she was an instructor for 6 years. She also owned and operated Commerce Funeral Home before joining the Dignity Memorial® team.
As a certified funeral service practitioner (CFSP) with the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice, Pam holds the highest professional designation achievable in funeral service.
