Michael P Picard
Mike has been with the Dignity Memorial family since the mid-1990s, but had experience with the funeral industry since very early in life, making it his career in the early 1980s. Growing up, his family ran a business providing granite memorials to local funeral homes and cemeteries. Mike has served in funeral homes across the country, from Houston to Miami, and currently, in beautiful Charlotte.
Being able to assist families through a difficult time is something Mike finds most rewarding. He strives to portray 3 core values he has recognized while working with the Dignity Memorial family: integrity, respect and enduring relationships. When asked of his career, he says, “The rewards of pre-planning and how this can benefit your family while relieving the stress this puts on the remaining family is priceless.” Feeling chosen for helping families through the process of funeral planning, Mike cannot imagine anything else giving him such a sense of wellbeing.
In the 2010s, Mike met his wife in Orlando while serving at Woodlawn in Gotha. In their off-time, the 2 enjoy traveling with their small dog Romeo, who is considered a member of the family.
