A celebration of life

Our work begins by listening to you. Inspire our attentive funeral directors with a portrait of a life—their hobbies, passions or personal style—and we will create a memorial service that speaks to individuality.

Imagine a last trip out on the water, with a nautical-themed tribute for the person who loved boating above all. Envision a rousing game of bingo held in honor of the person who brought joy to their fellow players every week. Inscribed keepsake gifts and personalized music playlists can evoke just the right emotions. Let our experienced team at Blake-Doyle Funeral Home handle the details, so you can focus on the guests who matter most.

Funeral and cremation options

Blake-Doyle Funeral Home welcomes celebrants of every religious tradition to our spacious chapel. The flexible reception space adapts to your needs and desires, whether you choose a large reunion of friends before the service or a private gathering of immediate family afterwards. Traditional religious funerals remain a classic choice, and funerals with military honors add a special touch for those who served our country. Cremation services also mark a contemporary alternative for those interested.

In 1955, Robert J. Blake, grandson of original founder George Blake, brought the funeral home to Collingswood. James F. Doyle, who served families at Blake Funeral Home since 1959, purchased the funeral home from Mr. Blake in 1984 and changed the name to Blake-Doyle Funeral Home.

In January1999, the Blake-Doyle Funeral Home became affiliated with the Dignity Memorial® network, North America’s largest provider of funeral, cremation and cemetery services. Today, our clients enjoy an assurance of quality served by a local hometown team.
